A fatal auto-pedestrian crash occurred on Gulf Freeway, also known as South Interstate Highway 45, in the 3400 block. m. on June 1.

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross the roadway. The driver of the vehicle, a silver Nissan Sentra, remained at the scene and was questioned by authorities. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased by the Houston Fire Department.
